RCC + DAVID CARSON + FACTOR COMPETITION

The competition is open to Rapha Cycling Club members, excluding employees of Rapha Racing Limited, their immediate family, and any third parties professionally connected to the competition. Competition opens on Tuesday 19 August at 00:01 (BST) and closes on Tuesday 2 September at 23:59 (BST). After this date, RCC + David Carson + Factor competition entries will not be accepted. However, Rapha Racing Limited reserves the right to extend the competition period in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

General

These terms and conditions apply to Rapha online competitions. By participating in the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The competition is organised by Rapha Racing Limited.

Qualifying Participants

The competition is open to Rapha Cycling Club members, except employees of Rapha Racing Limited, their immediate family, and any third parties professionally connected to the competition. Entrants are required to fill in their name, Rapha Cycling Club membership number (located in the RCC app) and email address. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and that the decision of Rapha Racing Limited is final and binding in all matters relating to this competition. Results may be used for publicity purposes.

Prizes

The prize for this competition will be a limited edition RCC + David Carson Factor Monza bike (full build with frame, fork, wheelset and components) with a chrome base paint finish. Only 10 of these bikes will be made, with the other 9 being offered to VIP and founder Rapha Cycling Club members. A standard version of the bike with a grey base paint will be available for Rapha Cycling Club members to purchase from Tuesday 26 August.

Images of the prize on rapha.cc/story/rcc-carson are for illustrative purposes only and are not contractual. No guarantee is given that the prize will be exactly as shown in promotional imagery. The winner will be selected, at random, by Rapha after review of the entries and verification of active RCC membership status, and will be announced on Saturday 6 September.

Shipping and Duties

The prize will be shipped from Taiwan by Factor Holdings Ltd. The winner will be provided in writing with the accurate shipping costs and any applicable import duties or taxes before confirming acceptance of the prize. These costs will be the sole responsibility of the winner and must be paid in full prior to dispatch. Factor Holdings Ltd will provide full transparency regarding these costs and will not mark the prize as a “gift” for customs purposes. If the winner does not agree to cover these costs, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected.

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and there is no cash alternative. Specifications of the prize may be subject to change for reasons beyond the control of Rapha Racing Limited and Factor Holdings Ltd, in which case a replacement of equal or greater value if necessary for reasons beyond the control of Rapha Racing Limited and Factor Holdings Ltd will be provided. If no winner claims the prize within one week of notification by email and/or phone, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected.

Additional Terms

Rapha Racing Limited and Factor Holdings Ltd reserve the right to substitute a prize or any part of it of equal or greater value if necessary for reasons beyond either entity's control. Rapha Racing Limited reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose this prize draw without prior notice in the event that unforeseen circumstances make this unavoidable. To request the winner’s name for the competition, send a letter to Rapha Racing Limited, Rapha Service Course, 4 Elthorne Road, London, N19 4AG, United Kingdom. Rapha Racing Limited are the arbiters of the competition and reserve the right to alter, suspend, amend or foreclose the competition at any time without prior written notice and without any liability to any qualifying participant. Rapha Racing Limited accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete due to technical or other reasons beyond its reasonable control, or for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from entering this competition or by the entrant’s acceptance of the prize, or any damage to any entrant’s or other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of downloading any material relating to this competition. Nothing shall exclude Rapha Racing Limited’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence. Employees of Rapha Racing Limited, Factor Holdings Ltd and their immediate family are not eligible for the prize.

The collection and storage of personal information submitted to Rapha Racing Limited is governed by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This means your details will not be divulged to third parties and we will not send you promotional information, by email or post, unless you agree to it. Under the UK GDPR, you retain the right to access and modify any data about you held by Rapha Racing Limited. When you register your name or email address you agree to be governed by Rapha Racing Limited’s terms and conditions.
